At my core, I’m obsessed with problem-solving. I found design in my early twenties and fell in love; it gave me focus, purpose, and a way of seeing the world that I’ve never been able to unsee.

Being a Graphic Designer isn’t what the universe had in mind for me

Shortly into my career as a graphic designer, I was recruited by a global bank. What was meant to be a three-month gig turned into a 13-year career leading some pretty exciting technology and regulatory transformations. And somewhere along the way, I became increasingly frustrated with the stagnation I kept watching organizations fall into. No matter how smart the people, how good the strategy, or how advanced the technology, there it was, the stuckness.

From Furious to Curious

That frustration sent me looking for a better way. A PhD and 12 years of research later, I found it. Now, I’m on a mission to help leaders Unstuckify their organizations.

When I’m not in the trenches with clients or research work, I’m feeding my chronic wanderlust, being proudly bossed around by three awesome dachshunds, hunting down great food and wine, exercising, binge-watching TV, and working through my ever-growing reading pile. I also teach at the University of Denver’s Master of Organizational Leadership program.
